The Baraga Fire Department is proud to host the 55TH Copper Country Volunteer Firefighters Association Tournament on June 28th, 2008. It is an annual event where Copper Country Fire Departments from L’Anse, MI to White Pine, MI all the way up to Copper Harbor, MI, gather to participate in brotherhood and competition. The competition includes race teams challenging one another in races that utilize firefighter skills and also a dress parade that shows off their marching skills.
