Event Description

Campground Volunteer Fire Department will hold our Annual Open House Celebration October 11th, 2008, beginning at 11:00am. There will be games and prizes for kids, door prizes, and free food. Cotton candy and an ice cream truck will also be available. This year, our Open House celebrates our 25th year of fire service to our community! Come out and visit with us and have a good time.

Comment by Becki Turner on September 19, 2008 at 12:06pm: From London: Take Highway 229 toward Barbourville about 8 miles out. A store called Paul's Market will be on the left. Campground School Road is on the left at the edge of Paul's Market. Campground Elementary School is just past Paul's market, and the road turns left between the store and the school. Fire department is on the left across from the school gates. Email nittle75@windstream.net if you have further questions about the directions or the open house. Please use "FD Open House" as the subject, because if I don't recognize your email, I'll probably delete the message without reading it. I've been hit pretty hard by viruses and don't want to play that game again!
