The Self-assessment Manual (SAM) is one of the most critical documents that a CFAI Peer Team uses to determine if a site visit is approved or not. How well an agency can describe and appraise their performance is not as simple as it sounds. In fact, the lack of properly describing and appraising is the number one reason candidates for accreditation and reaccreditation are being told that their documents are not approved for site visit. This session will identify 7 principles that should guide the Accreditation Manager and their Internal Accreditation team towards writing a successful SAM.
