The Virginia Fallen Firefighters Memorial will be held June5th at the Richmond Raceway Complex in Henrico County Va. Service will begin at 12 noon with a free catered BBQ lunch following. All departments are encouraged to send your honor guard members as well as a piece of apparatus to show support for your fellow fire departments and the families that lost a loved one in 2009.

Should your department choose not to participate, you can still come alone, with friends or families so don’t think you have to come with a truck to be part of this yearly event. After all you are paying tribute to ones who gave their all. You would expect the same in return should your department suffer a loss.
