Open Enrollment, HANDS-ON

ALL students attending will have the opportunity to perform ALL of the following evolutions and more:

- Conventional forcible entry operations (axe and halligan) on both inward and outward swinging doors at varying degrees of difficulty.
- Through the lock forcible entry, hundreds of locks on display. Students will get a chance to pull lock cylinders using various through the lock tools.
- Forcible entry to the hinge side of the door using the “irons".
- Forcible entry operations for padlocks, all students will get to cut and break various padlocks. Hundreds of padlocks on display to discuss forcible entry operations on them.
- 2 hour lecture in which forcible entry tools and size up will be
stressed.
- Forcible entry power saw techniques, all students will learn and
demonstrate proper starting procedures, handling methods, and get chances to cut at various levels, hand, and saw positioning.
