Do BLUE lights cut through smoke better?

Has anyone heard about BLUE LED helmet lights? The local FF shop has them in stock on the theory (from the salesman) that the blue cuts through smoke better than white light... the store was waiting…Continue

Health and Safety Representative (certified) - Different from "Safety Officer" My job is only for the station - trip hazards, evac plans, regular office type stuff.

Leaving my department name out of this for fear of accidently saying something that might reflect poorly on my dept... don't think I will... but C.Y.A.!

My comments are sometimes educated, sometimes informed and sometimes just blowing smoke...but they are always mine and mine alone and do not reflect upon anyone else (especially my department or employer).
