If you could work at any fire department in the country, where would it be ?

I have not seen this on here so lets try a new discussion. I started late in the field but if I could , I would love to be in the Denver area . Maybe Westminster or Thornton fire depatments would be good since I grew up there . I knew allot of the Westminster f.f. 's while I was young as a friends dad was on the dept . They always had a great dept. Where would you be and why?

I would have to say my home town where i grew up, Middleboro MA, if not there than my current city of Fall River MA.

it would be the Detroit Fire Department for sure! Its my dream someday to be a part of such a great department!

The one I wanted to join as a kid got amalgamated into the City of Toronto.

I would want to work (paid) for the one I belong to right now (volunteer); but with the operational MONEY from the town next door.
They have a bigger budget, bigger stations and buy NEW trucks... not 'hand me downs'.

I'm currently a student MATC in wisconsin. I have the pleasure of reseaching all these outstanding departments on FFN. I would like to move somewhere warm, (not a fan of the winter season),but if offered a position,would love to work in my hometown of Milwaukee, WI. When I was a kid I always dreamed of being a NYFD firefighter. I still feel that would be were I would want to work. Growing up close to the city I would always follow the news, current events, and the books written about the department and thought it would be an exciting place to work.
