Disturbed- inside the fire or some Mudvayne something fast paced is my personal preferance to have in the back ground
Wow! Excellent work on that!!

Rascal Flatts - Life is a Highway: outllying area call
Kenny Loggins - I'm Alright, Nobody Worry 'Bout Me: EMT call to bar
Baha Men - Who Let the Dogs Out: rural call
Evanescence - Tourniquet: EMT call to butcher shop
Billy Joel - We Didn't Start The Fire: backpackers response at camp site

Guess my living in TN is showing a bit, eh?! :)
How about the fire dispatch radio channel??? Everything else is distracting and whackerville.
How about for structure fires Meatloaf bat out of hell? Or It's gettin' hot in heeeeere ( so take off all your clothes). For shootings Queen another one bites the dust. For car crashes it has to be Crash Test Dummies MMMM MMMM MMMM. Brush fires has to be John Denver rocky mountain high. And anything by Britney Spears for trash or dumpster fires. Oh yea we can have a lot of fun with theortical stuff like this!
haha I was thinking of the same thing, as I was reading along. You beat me to it... lol
We Didn't Start it... seems to be the explanation of the day for grass/wild land fires. And I don't know.
I enjoyed reading everyones input. I do believe we all know to be professional at our job. I got a radio(am/fm cd ipod hock up) in the squad and everytime a call comes in I shut it down to listen to the call coming in and all the info while responding. The manufacturer radio only comes back on when the incident is over.
no but the medic was pretty good haha
On the way to the call how about, Ludacris, "Get out the way". and while on scene we blast through the PA system a little Limp Bizkit " Give me something to break". LOL
When I'm going on a call I am listening to the radio/dispatch reports. I am trying to picture the scene & come up with a game plan. I don't even want anyone talking to me about anything, unless it is directly related to the call we are responding to. I only allow the music radio if we are going on a non-emergency, comming back from a call, etc. If the siren is on, the music is off.
MOVE B*$#%, GET OUT THE WAY! LoL!
