I just completed my course for emt-basic certification. I am now getting eady to take the national registry but I am having trouble keeping all of this new information sorted out. Anyone have any certain ways to help out? It's been a long time since I have had to take a test of this magnitude. Just a little bit concerned. thanks for any and all responses.

Good Luck
There is a green booklet by AAOS that is a review and practice exams, its great my whole class used it and we all passed. Just remember your ABC'S, obstetric n gyn, Pt. assessment and you'll do just fine. Good luck!
Hope you did well on your test... The Basic NREMT test isnt too hard.. it should be almost as your final school test was. When you read the questions, you should have the answer in your mind before you look at the answers given. ALWAYS go with your first gut instinct on the test... if you go back and change an answer, chances are better than 50/50 that you will screw it up. If you studied in class, and have a decent brain, you should do fine. The first time I took the NREMT-Intermediate exam, I passed EVERYTHING with flying colors EXCEPT the PRIMARY SURVEY section.... talk about embarassing ....

Again, best of luck with it, and I hope that you pass with flying colors... be sure to let us know if you made it too :)
