So, now that we have been here to watch the site climb to over 10,000 members, a zillion photo's and Images, Blogs, Forums, and more changes arriving just about daily, (and congrats Dave on the site's continued success) What is your favorite part of the Site and Why?

I like having a place to share my thoughts, hopes, fears and talents. I've made some incredible connections on here that I would not otherwise have had the opportunity to make, and have gained good friends out of the process. The networking aspect as it pertains to my job is invaluable.
Internet Connection: $29 per month
Laptop: $800
Comfy chair: $300
Popcorn: $1.99 per bag x. twice a month
Internet addiction therapy: $100/month
Nation membership: Priceless

11,000 members and counting. Of all the different areas in the FFN, I personally enjoy the individual profiles. Enjoy seeing what makes each of us click, and why each of us chose public safety as a way of life. 11,000+ very different persons, each with different backgrounds, level of training, experience, etc., yet all members of one social net.

And yes, with a lil luck, someday I may meet some of you folks. Just hope it is over a beer and some good laughs, as opposed to yet another National Disaster.

I am new to FFN. I love it. You get informitive information from across the US. Or just bs with other firefighters. Its a great site, I cant believe that I didn't find this sooner.

what i like about the ffn is the friendships and the input. I have made alot of new and wonderful friends. The information that i have gotten from here is priceless. Hope we all can keep this way of life going for ever. The heated forum discussions are also alot of fun. lol
