Well the busy weekend for my little rural dept has finally slowed to end.... it seems to go in spurts. we were on stand by for the city dept (next city over) while they attended a fireman's funeral and they ended up having an attic fire. so we went and saved the day. the neighborhood was stunned to see the little volunteer dept from down the road show up before their home city (paid) dept. we had a wicked winter storm and another little town suffered from alot of damage so we spent a good part of today helping them. then a regular general illness ambulance run to top it all off.
