About Me:
Been a volunteer since around 1980 and have worked for a couple of departments as a parttime contract firefighter. Spent 10 years with the LSU Fire and Emergency Training Inst. I now work full time at a chemical plant and enjoy my time off riding my motorcycle with my club the Iron Warriors MC that is made up of LEO's and FF's. I still volunteer with my local FD, don't run the medical calls as much as I use to. Married and have three children and two grand daughters
I was going though the list of command officers added to Firefighter Nation in the past few months and your profile came up. I have found FFN to be an excellent resource for networking and wanted to "meet" some of our new members. And while you're online, if you are interested in visionary and innovative emergency services discussion, come check out my blog at Firehouse Zen, part of the FireEMSBlog Network featured here. It got its start on here and has evolved into a great place for sharing new ideas for the job. Feel free to friend me here, or if you have a question, let me know.
