Began running when I was 18, non-stop since then. Held positions such as Financial Secretary, Chief's Aide, and Lieutenant. I dropped my offices when I went away to school but came back strong. I was a live in member up until about a week ago!

Why I Joined Fire/EMS

The urge to help people and overcome the challenge was just too much for me to watch on the sidelines.

Top Issues Facing Responders:

forgetting why you joined in the first place. It's not about the ride to the scene, lights and siren, it's about helping the community. The overwhelming need for personnel in the volunteer community is also a big issue.
