About Me:: Been with my wife for 5yrs two of which we have been married. Lived in Ohio Co. for the past 4yrs. We bought our house in Sept. '09 and I joined BDFD in March '10. Had been out of the fire service for about 5yrs and you just dont realize how much you miss it till you are out for a few years and get back on.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: When I was a little kid there was a paid dept right next to the library where I went alot. I used to ride my bike by there and marvel at thier trucks and thought that would be a cool job to have. As I grew up and saw movies and shows with firefighters I thought that it would be awesome to help people and to go running in when everyone else is running out. So when I turned 16 I joined my local department's junior firefighter program and never looked back. I took all the training I could get so I could learn how to help protect my community better.

Why I Love Fire/EMS: I love the rush you get from a good working house fire and I love to help people

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Terrorism, inattentive drivers, biohazards, and the fact that people anymore have a complete disregard for the safety of thier peers.
