I have been involved in the fire service since 1974 in all aspects, as a volunteer, EMT/Paramedic, Fire Prevention Officer, Chief Officer up to and including Chief of the Department. I have been involved in State and National fire service affairs serving as President of the National Society of Fire Executive Officers of which I was a founding member. Retired in 2001, worked for FEMA/DHS as Fire Program Sepcialist. Worked as consultant for virtual reality simulation company before starting our own technology company. I now

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
To stay connected with my chosen profession and to continue providing resources to first responders whom so often aren't aware of technologies available in other industries.

Top Issues Facing Responders:
In the Western US financing the fire service will always be at the top of the list. Finding more effective ways to keep our firefighters safe while performing their job. Recruiting and Retaining the right type people for the fire service of the future rather than those types of people whom survive in the legends of the past.
