The new Firefighter Skills Competency Workbook is now available. This Skills Competency Workbook follows NFPA 1001 (2008 edition), and can be used not only to document initial training but continual skills competency training as well. I know that this is not Rapid Intervention, but at the same time it is related to rescuing the rescuers. Next to training, a good accountability system is the most important tool in preventing the need for a Rapid Intervention Team activation.
