Hey Chief, Vestal is near Binghamton, I grew up in Middletown, south on Rt. 17. I've been a volunteer in Middletown since 1965 and did 22 years in the Newburgh FD. North Carolina is a terrific place to live, we're much happier here than in NY or PA. I'm in Chatham County, we should get a coffee sometime soon. Thanks, John John@IncidentMT.com
The way to open up a Minitor 4 pager is as follows:
Remove the batteries and remove the battery door.
Remove the hex cap screw that holds the two case halves together (actually remove it, not just loosen it)
Now, I put my index and middle fingers on the top of the belt clip, and my thumb against the bottom of the pager, and slide the back cover down away from the top.
There is some rubber cement that M uses as a sealant around the edges but I just pull it off and throw it away.
Welcome to the family where the language and reasoning important the Border is not in our work is to save lives regardless of color, religion or social position, much less. The important thing in our work does not need language to communicate, or borders to help.
