About Me:

The North Patchogue Volunteer Exempt Firemen's Benevolent Association inc. was formally organized on February 23rd 1960. the purpose of the following; To promote the general welfare of volunteer firemen and the volunteer fire service particularly in the North Patchogue Fire District.

For its corporate purposes to be dedicated and used for the benefit in relief aid and assistance to just members who are disabled or indigent and to the families of members in such measure as circumstances may require a condition of assistance be made available as decided by the Board of Trustees.
The charters of benevolent associations specify that 2% tax funds are to be used to aid indigent and disabled volunteer firefighters and their families. Thus, the association is a “trustee” of the fund for this purpose.
