Why I Joined Fire/EMS
It was always a dream of mine to do something like it. When I was in Middle School they would have career day's and you would always find me in the classrooms where the Firefighters and Paramedics were. What really did it for me, was watching my cousin start his journey into EMS. He joined a small dept and I followed him around for a summer. And finally 9/11 happened. As soon as I was old enough I became a junior member on the local dept and went from there.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It makes me feel good about who I am, and where I'm at with my life.

Jeremy, I got my WA EMT-B at Central Washington University in Ellensburg. They also have a Paramedic BS degree program. I understand that several of the community Colleges sometimes offer EMT-B. another place to check would be your local EMS office, as they should know where to go for that also.
