My Training:
I am currently working on my EMT-B training, and plan to move onto my Paramedic training next year. I am HAZMAT Operations level certified as well as Fire Fighter One with plans for Firefighter Two in the spring.
About Me:
I am 27 years old and married to a beautiful woman. Life isnt perfect but we make due the best we can. I work with kids with behavioral issues and am currently balancing my time between classes and remodeling my home. My wife and i have been married about 8 months. We have 2 dogs.
Day Job:
I work with kids with behavioral issues.
Relationship Status:
Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I origionally joined simply to be involved and to help people, however I love it so much I am now trying to make a career out of it.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
I get to help people in thier time of need.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
I think the top issue facing responders is a lack of training on our own part. So many people who have been in the service for years fail to see the reason to train, or they dont push for training as much as they should. I am relatively new to the service and my first chief pushed me to train, and train I have. It helps me have the tools to operate in any scene safely and effectively.
