About Me:: I am 23. I live firefighting. My life consists of Firefighting, training, fishing, eating, spending time with my family and friends and sleeping. Repeat the process over and over again.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: For the excitement that the job brings and being able to help another person that is in need. When you get up you never know what situation you will be faced with in the fire service. Plus the fact that its the best job in the world.

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Building Constuction, Budget cuts due to our economy, Lack of Knowledge on the political side, Lack of physical fitness and health and wellness programs in the firehouse, New vehicle designs, Increased transportation of HazChems on our roadways and railways over the years, Some places face a lack of leadership and knowledge on a marginal scale.
