Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My father was a volunteer firefighter when I was young, and it always thrilled me to see him go to calls. When I finally settled to an area, I figured I would give it a try. I love firefighting, and EMS also. I currently am a volunteer Captain, and an NREMT-I.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The excitement
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Firefighter safety while responding to calls. This is a problem that is growing, and really needs to be adressed at the department level with strict rules about response.

    well i am not in keene but rindge is pretty busy. besides the college. alot of other fire calls and ems calls.

    I noticed a comment you left on someones profile that you lived in Torrington CT at one point and my niece moved there and my younger daughter decided on U of H for college.....strange how places become popular so quick.
