About Me:
I am a thirty-two year old male. I would consider work as a career firefighter, as long as the City/Township was relatively close. While I am not at my 'regular' job, I enjoy doing things with my hands on experience, such as welding, building car engines, carpentry, etc... I am married without children, have two pets both cats. Together, my wife and I enjoy going to movies at the IMAX theater, and walking for fitness.

Lewisburg City, street Dept.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I don't recall WHY I started as a volunteer. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time. Since I joined I have had many great experiences, and have come to believe that God has led me to this.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It gives me a feeling of self worth, something I have learned is not easy to come by.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
For me the top issue is response time, since I work at a volunteer department. We are also very close to the interstate, so interstate traffic is also a major safety issue. The Tennessee Highway Patrol are brainwashed to "get the Interstate OPENED BACK UP". Safety is not one of their concerns in my humble opinion,

Hello to all my new friends here on FFN. I greet you all with warm heart, and look forward to intellectual conversation. Feel free to message me at any time-for any reason. I am a pretty good social worker, although I'm not certified or trained as such. I just have a lot of been there, done that type advice to give.

    Please, make yourselves at home.
