    Hey Roger,

Thanks for the welcome. I appreciate your pointing me to your testing site, however, I have no aspirations for being a career FF. I just want to contribute to my community's safety on our volunteer department.

Yea, well so much for that thought....14 ALS runs in 12 hours....ugh! Did get a pretty decent trauma out of the mix. This past flu season hit us HARD. I am growing very weary of fever, cough, cold, nausea and vomiting, and these people are SICK. Its just been medical...medical....medical....then BAM! Dude cuts his hand off....well....sortof....not quite all the way. My partner says its my fault, it was like run....11 and I was growling under my breath after being dispatched for a "cut finger" that "it had better be hanging on by a thread"....yea....kinda feel bad about that.....anyway, today is my Friday so no matter what, its OVER at 7PM.....yee Haw!
  • Steve

Thank you Lt. Waters for your recognition. That's a fine looking group of guys you work with. I bet the comradery shared with each other is priceless! I am still in touch with a few buddies from my NAVY days in the '70s and the bond could never be broken. We were and still are brothers and that my friend IS priceless! In fact, one friend finished his hitch with the NAVY, then completed a hitch with the ARMY, and is now in afganistan serving the AIR FORCE! Man!, do the math, they are about to force his old butt to retire. If I had it all to do over again, I would be standing alongside him! Just a couple months ago he sent me a video of him and his group in a bunker and you could hear the explosions as they were under rocket attack. Some guys have all the luck, huh? lmao Take care Lt. and hope to talk to you again soon. Michael Watson
