Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Joined Navy in 1974 and became a Hull Tech/Firefighter. After my hitch, I returned to civilian life and was in the fire protection trade for 31 years. Due to injuries suffered over the years, I am now disabled. Because of my background, I have extreme interest in Military, Fallen Heroes Military and fire/ems/first responders.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
It's in my blood, I highly respect anyone willing to put thier life at risk to save others.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Lack of public awareness, inadequate equiptment/funds. Building standards do not fully consider fire hazards.
