About Me:
I am currently a volunteer for YWCA Secret Seconds in Missoula, MT. In fact in April of 2011, I received an award from the mayor for Outstanding Neighborhood Volunteer of the Year. Not as thrilling as firefighting was, but I'm still making a difference ;) I'm not on much, but feel free to contact me on Facebook (just make sure to put FFN in the request so you don't get ignored). Stay safe out there!
Day Job:
Proud mother of two beautiful little boys!

Divorced

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I wanted to make a difference, so I volunteered... I was a volunteer firefighter in Superior, Montana in the U.S. as well as a volunteer for Mineral County Search & Rescue. For me, it is a passion, and I like knowing that I can make a difference in this world. I think that ALL volunteers are heroes, they change the world one person at a time!
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Knowing that I have made a positive influence on someone's life.

hello kim hope u have a great weekend
  • lloyd

Definately think you should post the tat and let us see your work. As soon as I take a pic, I'll do the same.
  • Kimberly A. Beatty

only have the one tat, but I drew it myself and it means alot to me, especially since I am terrified of needles LoL. At first glance it looks like a cat's face, but every line symbolizes something completely different. This is what was in my mind as I drew this... The eyes of an angel watching over the hearts of those who have left us as they draw near to the gates of heaven... I plan on adding more color soon, but have not made the final decisions yet, maybe I will post them here and let you all decide ;oD

The photos are all of Mineral County, which is where I lived before I moved back to Missoula in Feb of 2007. Most of them are taken in and around Superior. Beautiful area but so very hard to find a job out there... I used to love just going exploring up in the woods, found some really beautiful lakes and waterfalls up there in the mountains :) Glad you enjoyed them, I will be posting more as I get them scanned and uploaded :)
