Welcome to the Nation, Stay with what you always have wanted to do and live your dream. You have only began to see what the Service is all about. If i was you,(The way i started my EMT life) find a good school, take the 3-5 month course and next thing you know your on an Ambulance and doing it full time. Good luck and let me know if i can answer any questions or help.
Congrats on the National, that test does suck. I remember when i took it and i was going nuts stressing about it as well. 1 time and i passed with no problem. As for the quiet department life, i know what you mean. Ours averages about 100 calls a month with about 75% being medical. I am helping get the Technical Rescue team together and we are lovin it. Jumping off anything we can find. If you need anything or have any questions that i can help with, just ask and i will do what i can.
That's good, I could use a chauffeur...lol, but I feel a CPR run coming that day and guess who's getting in the back with me??? LOL We'll have fun! Cya!
