Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Even as a kid I loved the flashing lights, sound of sirens and the adrenalin rush of an emergency. I also get a great sense of worth when I can make a difference in someone's life for the good. There is a sense of gratitude for your life when you can make someone else's better. I love EMS and always will!!
Why I Love Fire/EMS: It gives me great self-worth to help others in their time of need.

Sure I'll trade patches with you. I have patches from 4 Dept. in Deep South Texas. South Padre Island Fire Dept. My dad's the Asst. Chief there. San Benito Fire Dept. that's my old Dept. and I still have 2 Cuzins that work there. Brownsville Fire Dept. My grandpa retired after 35 years of service from there and I have 1 cuzin that works there and McAllen Fire dept. where My little brother and I work at. I definately will try hard to get a patch so i can get one for my husband, we went to shining tree and the french river up there i think thats all weve been to but i absolutely loved how the night sky is up there it is beautiful!!!! you can see all the stars!!! we wanted to come up again this year but kinda low on funds if you know what i mean.

Cameron is doing good as far as I know, I haven't seen her much since the concert though.

I can't understand why people would do such horrible things! I hope my husband divorces me instead of killing me.
I don't have any new boyfriends yet. Theres a couple I'm kinda interested in, but they're either ex's, aren't interested, or have a girlfriend. There is one that might be good potential, but I've only talked to him twice at church for like 30 seconds. But our sunday school teacher, who is also the asst manager at lifeway says he's a really good person with good morals and stuff, and he's not bad looking either :)

I'm working at station 20 (Chinatown, Old Montreal and Downtown). We don't have station patches left. A new batch will come in june or july. Now, I'm having patches like the one I use as my image profile. Toe MFD official patch.

Well I'm trying but I think I'm more tired now than I was before haha. I always have trouble sleeping away from home...especially in a tiny room with 3 other people who like to talk and talk and scream and talk some more.
Its also been raining the whole time I've been here so far except like 3 hours this afternoon. Its really annoying cause I was so exciting about going to the beach.

I think your prayers worked :) It was sunny long enough yesterday for us to go to the beach for like 2 hours, and we are probably going again today. Tomorrow we have hotel reservations on the beach for the night. Its a resort hotel with like 3 hot tubs and 2 pools as well as the beach. I'm so excited. It will be my last night here though.
Today i think we're also gonna visit the fire dept thats closest to the friends house I'm staying at. We went last year when I came, so we're probably gonna go back again today for the fun of it.
I think I've gained like 10 pounds since I've been here cause we've been eating out at least once a day. This morning I got up and I wanted to go to this place for breakfast, then I realized how tight my pants were and decided to get a weight loss smoothie instead. I'll just try to go to the gym extra when I get home.

I did visit the station, but not the one I went to last year. We did a different one which was nice cause I got to see different trucks. I gave them my patches, but they trade tshirts, not patches. They're going to mail me one and I'll mail them one of mine in return.
The hotel was really nice. We went walking on the beach a little after midnight. Some drunk guy came over to where we were and kept walking by us, so we started walking away and he was like "aren't you going swimming?" so peyton said "its to cold" so he said "I'll warm you up!" so we started walking faster, and he just kept standing there talking. We were far enough away we couldn't understand him but we could just hear him blabbering. Then after we got out of sight he started howling at the moon. It was really awkward.
We got home about 11 last night. The flight was delayed almost 2 hours. It was my 5th time flying and when we hit the runway the plane like bounced or something and scared me. A couple people screamed but I controlled myself since I was in public haha.
I hve a date Sunday night. Its with a guy in a neighboring fire dept. I've known him for a while but he had a girlfriend. He text messaged me the other day and asked if I wanted to go to a movie so I asked about her and he said they broke up. We're going to dinner and a movie.

Hello.
I haven't gotten the shirt yet, but if I do get one I'll send you the address.
I'm not really scared of flying. I get really nervous right before we take off but after that I'm fine. We don't have meals on the flight, its only about an hour and 45 minutes. They just give us drinks and peanuts.
The date was originally planned for Sunday, but then we ended up going out Thursday and Saturday too, but both of those nights involved his friends, so we kept Sunday as special just for us. Then we've hung out every night since except for Wednesday. He's in the neighboring volunteer fire dept, but he also works on a paid rescue squad and is in the army. He's been to Iraq for a year already and has to go back next year. He's very sweet and its going well so far :) We're not officially in a relationship yet cause he's got to straighten some stuff up with his ex first but he says he wants to go official as soon as he does that.
