Why I Joined Fire/EMS: My father was a firefighter for 21 yrs. on the dept. that i am currently on. I always went with him to the firehouse. I had alot of interest. It took a while for me to join because they never had a woman firefighter before, but I joined and can't seem to leave. Once a firefighter, alway a firefigher.
Why I Love Fire/EMS: It's in my blood, the thrill, the fear, the honor and glory of my duties.
