Check out Roll Call Forum and put some info about your Fire House in... Like to hear what your station is like, what you have as well as for number for firefighters as well as number of calls. Pass it around to your Firefighter Friends too....

Had to come look at your profile to figure out CFL'er. One of my best friends was a CFL'er as well...drives concrete now and is a certified FF, but professional wrestling is the route he took after the CFL.

Be safe and have a great week!

    Hi Spanner 122,

Just wanted to thank you once again for your reply to my forum post. And also thank you for the friend request, you are the first Canadian Firefighter friend of mine. I am half French Canadian and would like to visit Canada sometime.
  • Jim Cooper

Yes common sense is good, however I have found that it is not always common lol. I saw one topic of discussion on FFN today that kinda bugs me. It has to do with urban assault response vehicles (POV's) and several individuals pictures of them. Equipped with various emergency lighting and such which don't get me wrong is great if you drive responsibly and without tunnel vision or in a calm and systematic matter. Heck I have red L.E.D lights in my front windshield but I use them responsibly as I hope those folks do in the discussion. In the USA vehicle accidents are the second leading cause of death next to the heart attack issue. Most of those privately operated vehicles responding to calls or the station. To me it just looked like a bragging session but I could be wrong. Any how I had to get that out sorry. Ok that is enough take care,

Been lurking and reading your stuff for a while...thought I'd finally say hello!
  • Engineco913

Don't feel bad I have the rambling syndrome also. I fear it is inherited since my dad is the same way when passionate on a topic, and my children (pictures posted on my page) are following in Daddy's footprints :):)
