Why I Joined Fire/EMS

I always had a passion for helping people. I was a funeral director for a number of years and had the opportunity to move to a city away from home where I got to know the city fire department well.

After a few failed attempts at big city departments, I joined our local combination department at the encouragement of my brother in law.

Loving the greatest job in the world and I haven't looked back.

  hey Kevin things here are great, how are you doing? we have not been to busy, we had a life flight the other day, a man cutting limbs got hit by on and got knocked off the ladder. was loc, when he came around he had no idea what had happened so we flew him, they phoned us and let us know that he was ok,yea!!! its really getting hot down here, the humity is so high, and summer is not even here yet!!! stay safe and alert, ttys
