Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Because at the time I knew that it was something I really wanted to do and that I should do. At that time and still today, I knew I was going to dedicate myself to this. And the day I joined, I knew I fell in love with the job. There was no going back.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
being able to help out my community and the friends I have made in the process. Also, it's a passion of mine.

Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.

Enjoy, be safe and remember we all come home.

    Thank you.
Keep an eye on federal programs. As they cut FIRE Act and DHS money, they will be looking to appease us in some way. It will come in tax credits and incentives and very possibly a "volunteer" retirement plan.

I was looking at your training rundown, and I seen you went to the EMS workshop in 2005 at Montour. Actually, I was there this past weekend for the EMS workshop. 2005 was my first year out. Just thought that was kinda neat. Anyways, stay safe.
