Why I Joined Fire/EMS: Family tradition. My father was an Asst Chief in Lewiston, NY. We actually had a fire phone in our home. My cousin was the first female fire fighter in the city of Niagara Falls NY, My sister was a volunteer. Two of my neices volunteer and another works for Boston EMS. Both my brother in laws are invloved in the fire service as well.

Hey Christina, I started with LaSalle in April of '94 and was stationed out at OLV in Lackawanna until early '97 when I went to Springville. I would occasionally run out of SBM and EA as well.

I had #1398 under LaSalle and then #18162 under R/M. I'd be willing to bet we ran into each other at least once or twice. I left in '97 and moved to PA. I worked for Adelphia for 10 years until things fell apart. Although I am working right now I'm just trying to figure out where I go from here. :-\

I past the word to our fire fighters and they all send their condolences. I ride on Memorial Day every year to Wash. for the POW/MIA run to the wall "Rolling Thunder". Over 300,000 motorcycles I always hope and pray all riders make it home safe on that day. I will now think or Ms. McQueen and her family on that day too.
