About Me:
If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Relationship Status:
Married
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My father was the first Fire Chief of Newton Twp. Fire Dept. in Muskingum Co., Ohio. My Uncle George was a member of that dept. My brother, Craig, was a Captain of that dept., that died in an auto accident less than 1/4 of a mile from the dept, on his way to Paramedic class. My nephew is now a member of Newton. My husband became an EMT/FF when we were dating. He said he realized if he wanted to spend time with me he better join the Fire Dept..
I have always loved medicine and the sounds of the sirens. It's a "Family Tradition". It's my LIFE!

    Very Cool Picture.... Touching!

Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.

Enjoy, be safe and remember we all come home.
