About Me:: I've been in law enforcement for 29 years, EMS for 27, firefighting for 8 years.
I've lived in Iowa all my life, have traveled in the USA, alot. Visited many of your fine states. Want to visit them all plus some countries as well.
All three of these jobs have kept me pretty tied down. I just dropped my EMS for a while to free up my schedule, but will go back into it when I leave law enforcement in the next year.
I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and interests.
I'm a pretty laid back, yet off the wall person. Enjoy laughing and clowning around when not busy. I've enjoyed getting into the fire fighting world, wished I did it years ago! But I enjoy the best of three worlds right now.

Yeah, I had finals... eew. That call sounds like it was pretty bad. And enjoy the vacation. I have been working for a few weeks at the USDA farm on State/Mort. I like it a lot. Low key, hanging out outside, and lots of mud. Haha. Anyway, maybe sometime in the few weeks or so we can grab lunch or something. Hope you have a good weekend!

Hey Brother ! Would of enjoyed hearin' about that POOH run you were talkin' about, pooor fella! Hey! the Eagle landed yesterday !!! LOVED IT! Jus made it in from a vacant house fire it had vented the roof and was blowin' out the front windows an door pretty good.The dispatcher must of been new! they sent Eng#6 and a Dist. Chief to a structure fire, I saw the smoke when we pulled out and they had something else goin on another fireground so I didn't get a chance to correct 'um an get a full response but someone else did ! We got BZ quick :) and fun was had by all ! Later Man!

Well, it appears that life never gets easier. The rest of May for me is pretty booked because i work from 7am-noon, class for an hour, then back to work. I opted for an evening class too, so most evenings are booked. Then the next couple weekends, I'm traveling. This weekend to NoDak to go to a cousin's HS graduation and then the weekend after that for my friend's bridal shower. Busy, busy. Maybe if you work some weekend the beginning of June, we can do lunch or something...

hello dear...this is the first chance I had to get back and post anything since the burial. I also saw on the news about the tornadoe that hit in Iowa over your way, not to mention the floodings. My heart goes out and my condolences to all those effected by natures wrath.I have inlaws out that way my self ( from my deceased husbands family) and tons of nieces n nephews,,, so I know the worries.Please be safe out there dear...btw.. thank you so much for your kind heart... and I am doing all I can to hold myself together for my men, my mourning comes after theres. please be safe as I truly care.
