Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I honestly cannot say what drew me into the profession. I can remember as young as 12 saying I wanted to be a firefighter.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
it kicks assI love the constant challenge, how every call is different. When the tones go off, you never know what it is going to be. I like a job that keeps me physically active and one where I am constantly challenged. Each call tests me physically, emotionally or intellectually.

    Bonnie how are ya all doing over that way...we got hit hard yesterday with an ice storm have about a quarter inch of ice..now add snow on top of that..it was a wild day yesterday..had many accidents we slid our engine down the street and into a park..then a couple other cars slid and crashed into the park also..so will see what today brings..talk at ya later...

    hey there..yes things seem to have warmed up a bit hehe..the sun was out today and was up towards the high 40's anyways but the wind chill is what gets ya since the wind has been blowen pretty good..have had a several calls today one was a mva and the the 2 or 3 were fire alarms and then a shed fire which was nothen..so a little excietment..

    Outstanding! Oh and I told them you rescued 3 kids (baby goats that is, a parakeet you had to give mouth to beek ventilations too as well as a little old lady, who by the way reportedly used to reside in a shoe.
    Hope that was glamorous enough for you...the nun thing...well it just wasnt going to fly.
