Why I Joined Fire/EMS
It started off as an internship my senior year in H.S. I fell in love with it and have been doing it ever since.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
the ability to help difuse critical/stress causing situations, the excitement of never knowing what exactly you're getting yourself into, and just love to help people, it's in my blood I guess.

    After reading your profile you should be an ER or ICU nurse. I hope that is what your thinking as well. Anything else will bore you I promise. I worked on a med helicopter 4 years but you have to work a couple of years ICU/ER to go there . Are you going to do the Paramedic thing soon ?

    No. Its on our older trucks. Its usually handed off to our officers. They could do what they will. Another is handed off to the chief.Those have the P.A.S.S. alarm activaters on it. So we cant shut them off.. ;o)
