Top Issues Facing Responders:
Short staffing issues and budgets. I think there is a great mis understanding in the medical community of Paramedic skill levels and how they can be more utilized during this time of the nursing shortages going on in our country.It surprises me daily how many people do not know the difference between an EMT and a Paramedic. They are also not aware of the skill level that Paramedics have and they are extremely under utilized.
