HEY GUYS !!!!!! EACH YEAR IN MAY THE DETROIT FIRE DEPARTMENT HOLDS THE "DETROIT BURN CENTER SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT"

FIRE FIGHTERS FROM ALL OVER THE UNITED STATES COME OUT FOR THE WEEKEND, GET A GROUP OF THIER GUYS TOGETHER AND PLAY TO RAISE MONEY FOR THIS WONDERFUL CAUSE..... THERE IS AN ONSITE AREA TO CAMP OR LOCAL HOTELS TO STAY AT AS WELL

OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS THERE HAS BEEN A LACK OF INTEREST THAT I BELIEVE MAY BE DUE TO THE EVERY DAY HEAVY LOAD THAT YOU ALL CARRY IN TIMES LIKE THESE. LAY OFFS, CUT BACKS, ETC... THE TOURNAMENT SIZE HAD DECREASED GREATLY

WE ARE TRYING TO SAVE THE BURN CENTER TOURNAMENT HERE IN DETROIT AND SO THIS YEAR WE ARE STARTING EARLY ...

IM ASKING FOR ANY OF YOU GUYS THAT MIGHT BE ABLE TO GATHER A TEAM FROM YOUR STATIONS AND MAKE THE TRIP HERE TO DETROIT, THE 2ND WEEKEND IN MAY..... FOR ONE HELL OF A GREAT CAUSE.........

WE GET GREAT SUPPORT EVERY YEAR FROM NEW YORK, LOUISVILLE, OHIO AND MANY OTHER STATES........... WE NEED TO INCREASE THE TEAMS AND REBUILD TO HELP SAVE THIS FUNCTION!!!

awesome. im doing a college visit there in the spring. do you guys cover the college or is there a separate company for the college? is the company that covers the college paid or volunteer? i kinda want to stay volley but if it's paid that would be okay. i know some college departments will let students stay @ the fire house instead of paying room and board at the college.

Well hello back at you hun. Thank you for the wishes, I do hope this finds you and your loved ones well and safe. I am actually doing pretty good, aside of being exhausted,lol. Goes with the territory. Trying to put myself to sleep so can be ready for another week full of looking through a demolished city, but I am guessing sitting here on the computer isn't helping the sleeping matters none huh?lol.
