About Me:
When I was young my dad used to shoot video and pictures for the local news station so I was always getting woken up in the middle of the night to go stand at a fire, fatal MVA, or some other tragedy. I guess it was engrained into me then that I was going to be in this field. Though I detoured slightly in the 8th graded I decided I wanted to be a Medical Examiner. I live for the fire service and it is always an alternative if I don't achieve my main goal. If you want to know more check out my facebook ~ http://tennessee.facebook.com/profile.php?id=547114076

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Well my dad is a Firefighter and of course like father like daughter :) I would always hang around the station and go to the meetings and I was hooked. So I joined up and enrolled in the OSHA 1152 class in July.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Leaving a call and knowing I have helped someone or made their day just a little better.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Budget cuts.

Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.

Enjoy, be safe and remember we all come home.
