Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.
Funny as you get older and look forward to getting socks! Yup got some more fire socks... I know it's kind a hard to explain to a person who has the sun on there back all the time. But winter is coming soon and damn rubber boots are cold in the winter!
Need to get an extra size bigger and put on some warm socks...haha! Thanks again...
Yup your right as you get older fashion kind a goes out the window and one needs to keep warm. We find that if you do not wear a good pair of socks on the summer that your get blisters grass fire season. Or we put duck-tape on the heals. Winter time they are just not warm boots. Other thing that some wear are called Bama Boot Liners (Sockets), very good for both summer and winter.... Thanks for the thought...
yep hon this is the pic, that was right after getting back to the station after a near fatal MVA where an 18 year old was on her cellphone and almost burned to death.
