Why I Joined Fire/EMS
To tell you the truth, they talked me in to it. I really was not sure about the whole thing, started in a ECA class, and that led into Basic. Now i have been in this "crazy "world for 14 years. I would not trade it for anything,it is such a rewarding thing to me. I still get that rush when the tones drop
Thanks for the comments and graphics. Yeah! we've been getting the early morning fog to but is jump hot in a heart beat. I can't wait till fall. I hope you are having a great weekend also. SeeYa!!
Check out the some of the Groups, I have started up "Close Calls" an area to tell your story of what you did and should not of so others learn. "Roll Calls" this is another group that allows you to tell us about your station and district. "Trainers Corner" is another area that you can read about issues other trainers have or deal with. As well if your not a trainer you can ask questions or state concerns you have. If you have a hard time locating them just go to my site and look at the bottom left hand corner.
Hey..yeah thats what I heard about TAM...I plan on goin for just fire science for like an associates degree. What made ya come into the emergency service, your department busy?!
thanks,I am having a great day,its my birthday, hopefully i will be doing alot of nothing after i leave work LOL. plan on doing some pool time. You have a great day also. Make sure you keep John busy today with some honey do's
There seems to be a typo in your profile. When you were typing your age it appears you accidently hit the 4 instead of the 3 so your age reads 49 instead of your real age of 39. I think you should fix that!

Thanks for the add, hope you have a great week, mine started out really slow and now is going full blast. 2 fires, 2 traumas, a couple smells and bells, a hazmat incident, and a smoke in a structure. Went from turning a wheel to the wheel falling off LOL be safe out there
Thanks for dropping by, hope all is good down south! As for up here, we have had nothing but rain. Although we did have a couple of nice days for Moose Hunting.... But time go head back to work soon, have to stop into the fire hall and see what is going on...
Weekends over, holidays are over and it's back to work....
Not that it's really that bad, but it is always nice to have time off to do what you want and spend with the family.
Never seems as though you get everything done around the ranch. But must pay the bills some way, think work should be as long as a weekend and the work week be the play time.....
Your Welcome,
Thanx for adding me to your friends list and if you get a chance join the group I made it is called,,Just Out Saving Lives........Stay Safe and Speed Happily.........................
Back to work, it seems like days are longer and days off go way to fast. But one must work in order to pay taxes. Pretty amazing the fires in Cali. that is un-real. Been very good here, all good for calls. How is it your way?
14 years in EMS Do you still have your own knees? I know I did 8 as a Paramedic and I can predict the weather now. The young medics never had to deal with a model 29 stretcher., I laugh when I hear them complain. Stay safe and have a great week end.
Thanks for the friend invite. I'm glad to see someone "my own age" in here. So many "youngsters" around. LOL But someone's gotta continue when we run outta steam!
stay safe!
