I'm a wildland firefighter and was introduced to patch collecting by a retired captain from Toronto Canada. We don't have patches on wildland fires, only t-shirts from that fire. trade and/or purchase of patches and t-shirts is what I'm looking for. Hey all, I am interested in starting my own collection. I am interested in possibly making some form of flag out of all the patches I receive, hopefully enough for 2 flags to honor a ff/medic that was paralyzed last year in an accident and an air-medic that lost his life when his chopper went down in Aurora, Illinois last year. I would like to donate these flags with all decked in patches to the departments they belonged to for their benefits they have every year for both men. I cannot imagine a greater tribute to either of these men then their brothers and sisters giving a piece of themselves to help their families..from their extended family..
