i joined to learn what i can and cant do. i have learned a lot in my one year of service.

    becasue im from australia and we dont have that here.

    you have to apply and then go though extra testing.
    i applied this year except i got knocked back becasue of my age. and i dont have enough muscle yet

    are you serious they should bring that in here.
    you have to apply then you do an appitude test then you
    go in for an interview then you sit a second exam and then you do a physical test and the beep test in which you must get 9.6 and then do physical challenges straight after the exam. and then when you have passed all of that you get a number and if they are only taking 150 that year and your 151 then you miss out and have to re apply. and then cycle starts again.

    like i know swat guys that havent made it into the fire brigade.
    so annoying.
