Looking for Search and Rescue Training? The NASAR program is very well laid out and by far (in my opinion)the best to be found!Other SAR info can be found in your State SAR Programs or contact your division of Emergency Management.

We do a few fun drills every six months or so, just to change it up and have competitive fun. One drill we do, is instead of creating our own search & rescue simulator, we go to our local park and ultilize the playground and add a little rope and obstacles to it, makes it real easy to construct. One other drill we like to do, is set up a Firefighters Challenge obstacle course, which includes, donning bunker gear, hose drag through cones, target challenge, ventilation simulator and opposing hose streams bean bag push. It adds fun to the training schedule and involves alot of team work.
