The Best Knot Page Ever
I posted this to the Rope Rescue group and realized it was something I should share with the entire Nation (I seem to keep forgetting more would benefit when I do that).
If you want to check out a great knots page, go to Grog's Search and Rescue Knots. I think you'll like it. I give this page to many of my students to really drive home how a knot should look and all.

Thanks for the info on the knots page. I did a really good class with a guy from San Diego Fire on high angle rope rescue. I learned alot, but the need for more info (especially making sure your knots are right)! never ends!

To compliment all your knots and rigging training, cehck out Rescue Rigger at http://rescuerigger.com/
I've just brought a copy and whilst I'm still learning to use it, it's fantastic!
In fact it's almost scary as it calculates the forces in your systems and highlights issues.
As an example here's 2 pix of a 4:1 system- one is not labelled, the other obviously is. As you can see, Rescue Rigger calculates the forces which will help you design and develop better and safer systems in the field...

BTW, for you strange ones on the other side of the world, who drive on the wrong side of the road and use an imperial system- it measures in both metric and imperial....
