It is a problem when dispatch refuses to recognize what an auto aid agreement is and will not page the departments that are supposed to be paged auto aid for certain calls. That is the problem we run into here.

I don't want to get this thread too far off topic so I'll just keep it short. We are "dispatched" by a Law Enforcement communications center that is run by a police Chief. They see dispatching Fire and EMS as a burden so they don't put a whole lot of effort into it. We have been fighting it for years, but it will likely never change.
