we have a hydrolic PPV that is driven by an 1 1/2" line (which runs back to the pumper). It is silent, does not produce fumes, and has a misting attachment.

If I could remember the manufacturer that would be useful, but I can't...

Chris I remember seeing these units advertised in firehouse magazine perhaps if you drop a line to them they can hook you up. When you get the new unit maybe a few pics on here would be appreciated .
