my dept just got brand new MSA packs a couple of months ago. i have this problem too but haven't found any solutions yet.
Use shaving cream or a light coat of Johnson baby shampoo.Use it on the inside part of your mask. Put it on with your hand and then wipe it off with a cloth don't use any water. I know it sounds crazy but it works. What type of MSA are you using. The MSA we have I don't have a problem fogging up. If all else fails use your by-pass to clear up your mask.
High pressure low profile MSA packs with the ultra elite nightfighter face pieces. i'm going to take your word on that and give it a shot. it sounds like it will work well. thanks for the tip.
Thanks alot Kelly. I am also going to try this. I Hate not seeing especially during training.
Ski shops sell a product called Cat Crap for goggles. It goes on like a wax, works great.
At what point does it fog up? Does it fog up when you DO NOT have your regulator hooked up? If so, it happens to everyone. If it fogs up while you have your regulator hooked up, and are flowing air, then you may have a big problem on your hands.
