So what is the funniest thing you have ever said to dispatch or heard over the radio?
"The roads are slicker than goose snot" (neighboring station, this still has a rolling)
"Standy by for clear code or you can pick one" (my station, I could not find our code book)
So what have you done to make dispatch laugh, shake their heads, and go "Really?"

I feel for the guy, dont even get me started on bad directions driven truck. Try back east and they give you an address for the office not the warehouse. Most offices are places ya cant take a semi and 53 foot trailer into, and is illegal to do so. So ya I have been there done that, and most big citys I feel hate truck drivers and our big trucks in their citys. Heck half the time cant find a place to park, go to the bath room, or even sleep. Also try runnen out of hours to drive, due to driven all over for 5 hrs, looken for a typo address, in most eastren citys.

This isnt something that we have said to dispatch but something we hear from dispatch. We get alot of med aids for difficulty breathing. well a couple of times now when we here the pre alert and when the dispatcher repeats it i swear it sound like their saying: Engine-### Respond to a difficulty "Breeding". The first time we heard this we all got silent said "Did they just say what i thought they just said"?

Just do what my previous drivers used to do, double park it, get your stuff done and send the bill to HQ.
